In the summer of 2023, Dinko Pickleball founders Maria Claudia Sarmiento and Isabel Alonso met on the courts in Miami Shores. After playing in a local tournament with friends, they knew the vibe and energy they felt would turn into something big. The team, consisting of just 4 players, played in its first tournament together in Puerto Rico that fall. 

By winter, Dinko was represented at the MLP Minor League tournament in Pictona by 16 players. The movement has since played all over the State of Florida, Arizona, New York, Georgia, and California.

Being avid players Maria and Isabel understood the need for an indoor facility in the 305 and began the search.

This summer, The Dinko Complex, will open its doors in the heart of Miami.
